DTF Heat Press Instructions
Follow these steps for a clean, durable DTF transfer application. Heat press settings may vary slightly depending on the garment, transfer film, and fabric type.
Recommended Settings

Temperature: 300–320°F

Press Time: 10–15 seconds

Pressure: Medium to firm
-
Peel: Hot, warm, or cold peel depending on the transfer instructions
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare the Garment
Place the garment flat on the heat press. Pre-press for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
2. Position the Transfer
Place the DTF transfer with the printed side facing the fabric. Make sure the design is straight and properly positioned.
3. Press the Transfer
Press at 300–320°F for 10–15 seconds using medium to firm pressure.
4. Peel the Film
Allow the transfer to cool or peel immediately based on the specific transfer type. Remove the film slowly and evenly.
5. Final Press
Cover the design with parchment paper, butcher paper, or a finishing sheet and press again for 5–10 seconds. This helps improve durability and finish.
Washing Instructions

Wait at least 24 hours before washing

Wash inside out with cold or warm water

Use mild detergent

Avoid bleach and fabric softener

Tumble dry on low or hang dry

Do not iron directly on the design
